Pink Luster Cup #3

This is a gaudy style handleless teabowl and saucer. The design of this set reminds one of the so-called gaudy Dutch wares, manufactured by the English factories to appeal to the US Pennsylvania Dutch in the early 19th century. This set is from the same period, about 1830, but was probably made for the English market. The design is attractive and the condition is excellent. Saucer is 5 and a half inches in diameter.
