Chocolate Girl Plaque

This is a superb porcelain plaque made in Germany in the 19th century. It depicts the famous lady serving hot chocolate on a tray. Simply known as the chocolate girl one can find her on many different media including plaques , figurines, posters and paintings, etc. The plaque is completely hand painted and off superb quality! Nice fading brownish grey back ground. The plaque is in superb condition with some wear to the very edge which is normal. Displays perfectly. It does come with a shadow box type frame with glass to the front. Not in perfect condition but it works and looks nice so if you want it I will ship it along with the plaque. The quality of the plaque is very good and it is not a design that one finds often. The piece is 3 inches wide and jsut over 4 inches tall. The frame is 8 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 2 inches deep. The porcelain is marked with an impressed number and possibly some other marks but they are too faint to make out. Definitely German from this period! Please email me for more information or photos.
