Mid 19thC Nude Lady Pipe

This is a porcelain pipe bowl made in Germany around 1860. Not sure of the maker as it is not marked except for a remnant of an impressed mark along the bottom end as shown. The piece is hand painted with a good quality portrait scene of a semi nude / topless lady. The lady has very long dirty blond hair and is draped ina white and blue cloth around her mid section. Purple drapes in the background. The quality is very nice! The pipe is not marked except for that impressed number or letter towards the bottom end I cannot make out. It does have the name of the person that gave it as a present as well as the recipient and the year 1860 on the backside. The pipe bowl is a nice size being 5.375 inches long and has a top outer diameter of about 1.375 inches. It probably had a lid as some point which has been lost over time. The piece is in great condition with a little bit of minor wear to the top edge which would have been hidden by the lid and the little knob sticking out as well as the bottom end are not glazed fully. This happened when it was made and is not later damage of some sort. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $499
