Pair of German Ladies Scene Plaque

This is a nice porcelain plaque made in Germany in the mid to late 19th century. I first thought it might be a Nymphenburg piece since I know they used this scene and I have a pipe with this design to it but it is not nice enough to be by them. There are some printed outlines visible in the background if you look very closely which is not something they would have done. Either way it is a nice little round plque hand painted (mostly except for some small outlines) with two ladies sitting at a table with a plate of food on it, etc. In the background you can see a building and some greenery. A nice looking piece! It is glued to a red cloth that I did not attempt to remove to see if it is marked. The piece comes in a Sterling silver frame that is pretty nice. It has a heart design to the top with a bow around it and two feet designs to the bottom. There are initials in the bottom of the frame - MAB if I read them correctly and the frame is marked Sterlin as shown. The plaque is in nice condition with some scratches to the blond lady's face if you magnify it and the frame is oxidized and has a dent to the top side but still displays nicely. The plaque has a diameter of just over 2.5 inches and the frame of 3.25 inches. The frame is 0.375 inches deep. A nice looking combo! Please email me for more information or photos.
