Pipe Stuffer Leg

This is a rare porcelain leg made for stuffing you pipe. It was probably made by one of the Thuringia makers and dates to the late 18th / early 19th century. These legs are called Flohbein in German since a little flea was painted on them as a joke. This one is exquisitely handpainted and has nice detail all around. It is unmarked which is almost always the case with these. The little brown spot near the top is the flea! It is in perfect condition. The leg is a bit over 2.25 inches long. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $999
