Great Quality Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer definitely made in Germany probably at Gotha and in the mid 19th century. The saucer has a nice shape to it and is decorated with some simple gold trim. The cup also has a nice shape to it with a loop handle to one side, some gold trim and a really top quality scene to the front including two buildings with some people walking in front of it and a nice fence. Some greenery to the sides. The quality and the fact that it is marked with large numbers point to it having been made at Gotha. Only place I ahve seen those large numbers. Definiltey from the Thuringia area of Germany in the mid 19th century! The set is in superb condition without any issues - maybe a touch of super minor gold wear but that is it! They display perfectly! Both pieces are marked underneath with just some numbers as shown. The cup is 2.75 inches tall and 3.625 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 6.125 inches in diameter. If anyone out there happens to know which buildings they might be a quick note would be appreciated! Please email me for more information or photos.
