Scenic Plaque

This is a porcelain plaque made most likely in the Thuringia area of Germany in the early to mid 19th century. It is handpainted with a nice scene of a castle on a steep mountain with another castle closeby that looks like a statue more than a castle. A town is right by the second castle and closer to the front is a river with a bridge and two people taking a walk. There is lots going on in this picture and everytime I look I see something else like the carriage going across the bridge. The plaque is in good condition but come in one of those metal holder frames which damaged some of the paint on the top rim area. Two more scratches on the right side of the bridge but they are not super obvious. No chips, etc. The piece is marked on the back with incised marks but no real makers mark. The plaque is 5 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $399
