WWII German Occupation Plate #1

This is a plate made most likely by Fuerstenberg around 1947 and used by the respresentatives of the US, UK, Soviet Union, and France at meetings of the Allied Control Council which issued directives, laws, and proclamations to the four occupied zones of postwar Germany. Neat plate with a lot of history attached! It is decorated with handpainted flags of the four nations as well as a red line around the rim. The plate is in great condition with some use wear. It is 0.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.75 inches. It is marked simply with a red number 38 underneath. Fuerstenberg did use red numbers at times and I have seen one set that was also marked with their blue F mark though these are very rare!! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
