Goebel Art Deco Figural Inkwell

This is a great porcelain figural inkwell made by the Goebel company during the Art Deco period. It is an unusally nice piece for them as most items one sees are much newer and more in the Hummel category. The inkwell is superb with a lady (Balinese maybe) wearing a golden crown and a pink luster lidded jar for the ink. She is wearing a wide flowing blue dress and sitting on a black and gold base that is the pen holder. The piece is in perfect condition which is nice and marked underneath with the impressed GW monogram under a crown (their oldest mark) as well as a model number XS 418, DEP (for Depose), and the painters or artist initials in red which is rare and shows they were extra proud of this piece. The piece is 5.875 inches tall, 5.375 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or photos.
