Gotha Knight Scene Plate #2

This is a second fun plate made by Gotha in the mid 19th century. It is handpainted with a knight wearing a suit of armor in the center with his sword raised and his shield in front of him. The shield has a coat of armor on it that is quite fancy. The scene is of superb quality! There is a thin gold line around the center well and a thick gold trim to the rim. The plate is in superb condition. It is marked underneath with the impressed as well as the brown mark of a hen on a hill in an oval. An impressed number 3 is underneath as well. The plate is 1 inch tall and 7.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
