The Hague Scenic Bowl

This is a superb slop or waste bowl made by The Hague around 1780. The bowl is hard paste porcelain probably from Ansbach. It has a bit of a creamy appearance. The bowl is handpainted with two large and superb scenes as well as three floral arrangements one being on the inside bottom and a gold trim to the top edge. The scenes are some of the best I have seen by them and are definitely the largest I have owned. Amazingly the piece is in great condition with a bit of green paint flaking in the grasses of the scene and one spot of wear or firing issues in a tree. Tiny bit of wear to the gold trim. There is a little star glaze line underneath but it doesn't go through the porcelain and thus is no real issue. The piece is marked with the above glaze blue stork mark. The bowl is 4.375 inches tall and 7.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
