Hall Blue Plate

This is a Hall small flow blue plate oriental scenery. In a splendid dark cobalt blue with a glaze so thick you have to touch the surface to appreciate it! C. 1840. The decoration is from the Hall Factory's series of scenes from India , with a grape and flower border. This plate is only 6.75 inches across and is in excellent original condition. There are several factory-made glaze irregularities on the back. Slight toning on the back also. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
