Ladle

This is a porcelain ladle made by an unknown maker in the late 20th century. Normally I would not have bought it since it is not by one of the higher end makers I colelct but one rarely if ever sees hand painted soup spoons so there is my reason. It would go nicely with a Dresden terrine or something along those lines or even a fun kitchen utensil collection. The lade has a hand painted floral arrangement on the inside of the scoop part as well as the underside and a single leaf as well. A single flower can be found along the stem part. A bit of gold trim finishes the piece nicely. The piece is not marked but it is not terribly old either but probably vintage or at least close to that. The entire piece is about 12 inches long with the bowl part being 2 inches deep with a diameter of 2.875 inches. The stem end has a loop in it for hanging. It is in good display condition but has an odd X shaped damage to the inside of the bowl as shown. Only in the surface and it won't grow or go through the other side. Not sure what made that. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $79
