Boy with Dog Figurine

This is a figurine made by Melchior at Hoechst in about 1765. It is of a boy with his dog on the typical grass and rock base used by him almost all the time. It is 6.25 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The figure is in great condition with an amateurish restoration to his index finger, the bows on his shoes are chipped and the bow on his left pant leg is almost entirely gone. The figure is marked underneath with an underglaze blue wheel mark with the crown on top. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
