Hunting Scene Lid

This is a superb lid made by Meissen in about 1740. It is hand painted with a hunting / dog scene with one dog in a landscape surrounding on one side and two dogs on the other with a nice gold trim and finial. The quality of the painting is top notch! The lid is un marked which would be normal but it does have the gilders number 12. on the underside as shown. The piece is in OK condition but has a larger chip and a tiny one. The lid is 1.5 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
