Blanc de Chine Boy Figurine

This is a figurine made by Höchst in the 18th century. It is of a gentleman that is holding a bowl filled with flowers in his hands in front of him. He is well dressed and is standing on a typical grass base with a little tree stump in the back. A fun piece and very typical for this maker! Left in the white to show off the superb modeling and quality of the piece! He was modeled by Melchior one of the best artists in porcelain of the 18th century! The figure is about 4.75 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue wheel mark as shown. The figurine is in great condition with a minor chip to the edge of the bowl and one flower petal is missing. He displays perfectly! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
