Passau - Hoechst Bolongaro Palace Figurine

This is a very rare figurine made by Passau in 1927. The town of Hoechst ordered every old Hoechst model from Passau for the Bolongaro palace and I believe it was one of the last acts the town did before being gobbled up by the city of Frankfurt that it is now part of. Each figurine only exists once and most are still on exhibit at the palace but somehow some got away during the second World War. No one really knows how and when but I mananaged to find two pieces recently sold by a guy whose father owned them in his collection. He didn't know anything else and he didn't know the significance of these marks either. Bummer as it would have been interesting to figure out the story behind the disappearance of the figures! This figurine is of a lady holding a mouse in her right hand and a cat is loong up from her skirt. She is just under 5.25 inches tall and marked with the special Hoechst 1927 wheel mark for the palace models as well as the Passau staff mark underneath. She is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
