Bird Scene Saucer

This is a really ncie and early saucer made by Hoechst in the 18th century. It is marked with the colored wheel mark which means it was made before 1765 as well as an incised 2H as shown. The saucer is superbly hand painted with a nice bird scene in the center including the bird sitting on a branch in a landscape surrounding. Small floral arrangement to one side and three small single flowers to the other plus this really nice puce and gold trim to the rim. It's a gorgeous piece that is in superb condition with just some firing lfaws mainly to the udnerside from when it was made. As nice as they come! The piece is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
