Floral Hot Water

This is a hot water or small coffee pot made by Hoechst in the late 18th century. It is handpainted with a nice large floral arrangement on either side, a flower on the front as well as some small flowers on the lid. Nice puce trim to the handle, spout and finial and a brown trim to the rim of the lid. The pot is in great condition with a small chip to the lid, the stem that connects the pear to its leaves of the finial is missing and the bottom of the handle has a crack in it from stress. All in all it displays superbly and is very nice! It is 7 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue wheel mark with the crown over it as well as incised IN. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
