Fruit Scene Vase

This is a great vase made by Hoechst in the 18th century. It is hand painted with a fruit scene to the front and the back with a butterfly to each side and a gold trim to the top edge. Nice design to the porcelain of the foot as shown. It's a pretty early piece and the scenes are of superb quality! The vase is in superb condition with one tiny chip to the very top as shown and a few marks to the glaze from use. It is marked underneath with an underglaze blue wheel mark as well as some incised letters as shown. The piece is 4.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter.
