Hoechst Slumber of the Shepherdess

This is a large figurine made by Hoechst in about 1770. It consists of three figurines as well as a dog and a sheep. Extremely well modelled and painted. The figurine is very large and is in great condition. There is some minimal restoration to his hat, the flute as well as some of the bows so nothing really at all. It is 6.625 inches tall, 11.75 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue wheel mark as well as an incised SP.
