Hoechst Hunter with his Dog Figurine

This is a really nice figurine of a hunter made by Höchst around 1780. He has a duck in his right hand which his dog is trying to take away and his rifle by his left hand. The figure is nicely dressed and hand painted and standing on the typical base for this maker. The figurine is about 7.25 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and just under 4 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue wheel mark as well as some sort of incised mark as shown. The piece is in superb condition with the end of his dagger having been restored in the past, a chip to the bow on his hat and some minor damage to the rifle firing pin. Not sure if the black strap of the rifle is missing a little piece but all in all in as nice a condition as you will find! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
