Hoechst Lady with Sickle Figurine

This is a cute figurine made by Höchst in the 18th century. It is of a lady that is nicely dressed standing on a typical rock and grass base and holding a sickle in her hand. A stunning piece and very typical for this maker! She was modeled by Melchior one of the best artists in porcelain of the 18th century! The piece is modeled superbly and handpainted to perfection! The figurine is about 5.25 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep. Marked underneath with the blue wheel mark as well as some incised marks as shown. The figurine is in great condition with restorations to the top part of the sickle as well as one loop of the bow. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
