Letter B Saucer

This is a fun saucer made by Hoechst in the 18th century. The saucer is superbly hand painted with a letter B in script made up of lots of tiny flowers. Colorful and fun! The well of the dish has a raised design that looks like a yellow ribbon threaded over a gold ring. The rim has a circular relief design highlighted with gilding and a gold trim to the very edge and just below the relief design. An awesome looking piece and very fitting for me since my last name starts with a B :) The saucer is in superb condition with just some wear to the yellow ribbon design since it is raised and where the cup would have hit it often. A touch of wear to the gold edge. The piece is marked with the under glaze blue wheel mark as well as the usual incised marks as shown. It is 1.125 inches tall and 5.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
