Meissen Mark Saucer

This is an interesting saucer made by Hoechst in the 18th century. It is marked with two crossed swords in overglaze blue showing that even they tried to use the Meissen reputation for their own gains. Amazing how many makers I own that have done this. Almost all of them! Saucer design and painting is definitely Hochst with a nice floral arrangement and two smaller flowers as well as a gold trim. Underneath you see the mark as well as an incised SI or something along those lines. The saucer is in great condition with a bit of wear. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
