Oettner Painted Scenic Cup

This is a rare cup made by Hoechst around 1765. It is handpainted with a scene of a lady holding a fan in a landscape surrounding with some nice gold trim underneath. The inside top rim has a nice puce trim to it with gold highlights and there are flowers scattered throughout the rest of the outside of the cup. Nice handle shape highlighted with gilding. The piece was painted by Andreas Phillip Oettner which is something quite special. The cup is in great condition with a tiny bit of wear and a firing chip to the footring from the making. The piece is marked underneath with a puce wheel mark as well as an incised 81 or something along those lines. The cup is just over 2.5 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter.
