Samson Putti with Barrel

This is a figurine made by Samson in the 19th century. It is one of the best copies I have seen of Hoechst pieces by them which is almost scarily well done :) It is of two putto with a barrel in between them on a rock and grass base with some gold scroll work. The one putto appears to show winter with a cloth to cover him for warmth and a fire by his feet. The other I am assuming is fall as that is when wine is made. The piece is very well modeled and handpainted! The figurine is in superb condition with just a little paint flaking off. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue wheel mark with the crown on top as well as some impressed marks as shown. The piece is about 5.5 inches tall, 4.375 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
