Soldier Scene Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by a Hoechst in the mid 18th century during their early years. The piece is hand painted with a very nice scene in the center of two soldiers with their tents behind them in a landscape surrounding. Fancy puce and gold trim all around the scene and four small flowers. Gold trim to the edge. The saucer is in great condition with some wear to mainly the gold trim but it displays superbly. A few firing flaws that do not distract from this nice early piece! It is marked with painted red wheel mark as well as an incised Ki as shown. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
