Hoechst Spilled Milk Figurine

This is a figurine made by Melchior at Hoechst in about 1775. It is of a girl that is upset because she just dropped her jug of milk and it spilled. The piece is 4.75 inches tall. She is in great condition with just a chip to the milk jug. The figure is marked underneath with an underglaze blue wheel mark with the crown over it as well as an incised R.
