Gentleman w/Bag Figurine

This is a figurine made by Höchst in the 18th century. It is of a young gentleman sitting on a large grey rock with his bag on the ground by his side. The figure was modeled by Melchior one of the best ones of the 18th century! The piece is modelled superbly and hand painted to perfection! A really nice example of their work. The figurine is about 6 inches tall, 4.375 inches wide and 3.875 inches deep. Marked underneath with the under glaze blue wheel mark as shown. The figurine is in great condition with an almost chip to the udnerside brim of his hat (it never came out), damage to the blue bows on his hat and the side of his knees and the strap to his bag is damaged as well. Being as delicate as they are this is to be expected. Otherwise it is in superb condition! Even the index finger of his left hand is fine which surprised me! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
