School Pipe

This is one of my new favorite pieces :) A miniature pipe made as a memorial to the good times at the Gymnasium Holzminden. A Gymnasium is a type of top end high school whose pupils where allowed to go onto University to get a higher education. The reason why I love this piece is that I went to this school as a kid before coming to the US :) My dad found the pipe for me recently and it's probably about 100 years old or so. Beginning of the 20th century or maybe even end of the 19th century! The pipe is handpainted with some flowers and the words: Andenken an das Gymnasium Holzminden. It was used quite a bit and still has lots of tabacco residue on the inside. Otherwise in fine condition. The pipe is 2.125 inches tall and the top outside diameter is just under 0.75 inches. Unmarked but that is to be expected. Please email me for more information or photos.
