Hutschenreuther Tea Set

This is a superb porcelain tea set for six made by Hutschenreuther around 1988. It is called the Coco designwhich was designed by Günter Wunderlich in 1988. The pieces all have a really nice shape to them with a black and gold design. A really stunning looking set one does not come across too often. All pieces are in great condition with the esception of one saucer that has a flat chip to the edge reglued as shown. The pieces are all marked underneath with the green lion with the year 1814 under it in an oval the name Hutschenreuther under that and Germany plus a number in green as shown. The pot and lid is about 7 inches tall at the handle, 7.5 inches long and 5.25 inches wide. The creamer is 2.625 inches tall, 5.125 inches long and 2.875 inches wide. The sugar dish is 3.25 inches tall, 4 inches long and 3.125 inches wide. The six cups are 2.25 inches tall and have a diameter of 4.125 inches and the six saucers are 0.75 inches tall and have a diameter of 6.125 inches.
