Hutschenreuther Superb Signed Plaque

This is a superb quality portrait plaque made by Hutschenreuther in the late 19th century. The piece is of a young lady with a nice hair-do, eating cherries out of a basket full of cherries in front of her that is sitting on a desk. She is wearing a white blouse but one of her breasts is exposed. The quality of the painting is top notch and this painter also painted on KPM plaques so he is well known! The nicest part is that this scene is not one I have seen before - there are so many that one sees often so it is refreshing when something different comes along. The plaque is about 6.75 inches tall and 5 inches wide so a nice size and larger than many. It comes in a modern frame that fits well and is in good shape. The plaque itself is in perfect condition. It is signed with the Hutschenreuther impressed mark as shown as well as a number 3 and signed by the artist Weigel in the front on the desk drawer as shown. A superb piece of a nice size in perfect condition - doesn't come much better than this! Please email me for more information or photos.
