Kornilow Geometric Design Cup & Saucer #2

This is a superb tea cup and saucer made at the Kornilow factory around 1900. The rim of the saucer and outside of the cup are decorated with a nice geometric design that is quite attractive with some nicely placed thin gold trim to the edges, etc. Typical handle shape with a bit of gilding to that.These designs are based on Russian textile designs I believe. A very typical design for this maker but one rarely sees cups and saucers so this is a rare chance to own one! The set is in great condition with just some minor wear to the gilding. Both are marked as shown. The saucer with the double headed eagle mark with Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros underneath that. The cup only has the Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros mark and they both have a red 46. The saucer is just over 0.625 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. The cup is just under 1.75 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameeter at the top. The handle sticks out about 0.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
