Kornilov Nice Geometric Design Plate #1

This is a plate made at the Kornilow ( Korniloff / Kornilov ) factory around 1900. The rim is decorated with a nice geometric design based on traditional Russian art in orange, yellow and black that is quite attractive. One sees different forms of this sort of design from this maker and they are all quite nice! There is a gold trim to the edge and a very thing gold ring around the edge of the well. A nice design in the center of the plate. The plate is in great condition with some wear to the gold around the edge and wear to the thin gold band around the edge of the well. Displays very well and does not have any chips, cracks or restorations. The underside is marked as shown in the photos with the Kornilov brothers mark as well as the red number 47 which is the pattern number and Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros. in red as shown. This pattern I beleive was marketed by Tiffany and Co. at some point and I used to ahve a teapot in this pattern so there is a variety of pieces out there in the desgn. The plate is 9.375 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
