Korzec Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by Korzec in the very beginning of the 19th century. Korzec was started by Joseph Klemens Prince Sartoryski in 1790 and made porcelain until about the mid 19th century. The set is handpainted with a large puce scene in the front of the cup and saucer center. The puce color is just a bit different on the two pieces but puce was the hardest color to fire since the shade would differ with just the smallest amount of temperature differences. The scene on the cup has a cow, two sheep and a goat in it and the scene on the saucer has a a cow, two sheep and a farmer in it. Some small puce flowers as well on both as well as a nice gold trim. Both are marked with a triangle with an eye in it in red underneath with the name Korzec underneath that and the number 8. I guess the mark stems from the all seeing eye in Egyptian culture!? Both pieces are in great condition with a teeny chip to the saucer rim that is gilded over and a small restored inside rim chip on the saucer where the gilding is just a touch different than the rest but it's very hard to spot and very small again. There is a bit of dark spotting mostly on the footring of the cup. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 4.875 inches in diameter.
