Superb Leaf Shaped Dish

This is a superb leaf dish made by KPM in the later 18th century. No red orb mark as these were not used until much later. These types of dishes are very popular but one only finds the modern 20th century ones usually. One rarely sees ones this early and it is stunning! The dish has a nice leaf shape with a fancy handle to one side deocrated in relief and hand painted with puce and green trim. The center of the dish has a really ncie floral arrangement hand painted with three bugs / butterflies around and a gold trim to the edge. The piece is in great condition with some wear to the gilding on the edge as one would expect from this sort of piece from this period. The piece displays superbly! It is 1.375 inches tall (without the handle which sticks up another 0.875 inches) , 7.75 inches long and 6.375 inches wide. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as an incised number 30 which is hard to see. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
