Single Floral Cup

This is a cup made by KPM around 1780. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. It is hand painted with a nice large floral arrangement on the front of the cup as well as two smaller flowers on the other side and has a nice twisted branch handle highlighted with gilding and a gold trim to the edge. The piece is in great condition with just touch of use marks and along the footring some glaze was missed and the unglazed area stained grey a bit over time as shown. The cup is just over 2.5 inches tall and just under 3 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $229
