Leaf Dish

This is a fun leaf shaped dish made by KPM in the 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. It is handpainted with a nice large floral arrangement on one side as well as three smaller ones and a gold trim to the edge. Nice raised veins in the paste to make it look more like a leaf. The dish is in super condition with a bit of gold wear and a spot of wear to the tulip. There is an almost chip to the footring but it never came off and is just visible on one side (see pictures). The piece is 1.5 inches tall, 10.375 inches wide and 7 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter with a blue line underneath as well as some impressed marks as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
