Palmleaf Reticulated Puce Floral Plate

This is a really nice reticulated plate made by KPM during the 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The plate is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement in the center as well as two smaller flowers, a tiny flower and a tiny leaf. All done in monochrome puce which is a great color. The rim has one of their fanciest reticulated designs to it called Palmendurchbruch (palm leaf reticulation) which looks fantastic. It is very detailed with lots of cut out areas as well as relief designs and the very edge has an applied puce flower design to it with little arches in between. Tiny puce flower to the underside to hide a firing flaw common to these early pieces. The plate is in good condition for its age but there is one arch that is chipped but it's not obvious since the arch remains intact so it would be an easy fix for a good restorer. The plate displays very nicely! It is 1.375 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with a very early under glaze blue scepter mark well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
