Puce Floral Pot

This is a small hot water or coffee pot made by KPM in the 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The piece is hand painted with a nice puce floral arrangement to either side as well as a smaller flower in the front, on the spout and under the handle. The handle and spount have a nice green and puce trim to a relief design. Gilding to the spout edge. The pot is in superb condition with a tiny green paint flake spot on the handle as shown. Likely had a lid which I do not have. The piece is 5.25 inches tall, 5.75 from handle to spout tip and 3.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as a single line along the foot ring as shown. A very nice piece! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $149
