Reticulated Floral Plate #1

This is a superb reticulated plate made by KPM in the 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The plate is handpainted with a nice floral arrangement in the center as well as 6 smaller flowers on the rim. Nice basketweave design to the entire plate which looks very stunning. The edge has a brown trim to it which I see much more often on Meissen pieces than KPM. The porcelain on this plate is extremely thin and fine. It is in perfect condition. The piece is 1.5 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter with a blue line underneath as well as an impressed 12. There are two small leaves painted on flaws on the underside. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
