Polychrome King Charles Spaniel

This is a cute dog figurine made by KPM in about 1848. It is of a King Charles Spaniel sitting on a pillow. I own the 18th century original version but it is white so having a painted version is really nice. The black and white dog is sitting on a nice light blue pillow with gold tassels. The detail of it is superb and the paint job looks stunning. Lots of molded detail as well. The figurine is in perfect condition with just a minor touch of wear. It displays perfectly! The piece is 5 inches tall, 4 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. It is marked underneath with the circular penny mark in under glaze blue as shown used from 1847 until 1849. A large cut through it denoting it as a second choice though I have no idea why. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
