6 Altosier Cup and Saucer Sets

This is a rare set of six cups and saucers made by KPM in the earlier 20th century. From the Altosier servicewhich has a basketweave design to the paste along the rims and a nice handle shape with gilding to it. Gold trim to the edges. The best part is off course the nice floral arrangement to both the cup and the saucer as well as a single flower and a butterfly. All hand painted. A very elegant design! Each cup & saucer are marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as some painter / gilder marks plus the usual impressed marks as shown. The cups are about 1.875 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The saucers are about 0.875 inches tall and have a diameter of 5.375 inches. They are in perfect condition which is always a bonus.
