Set of 4 Strawflower Plates

This is a nice set of four plates made by KPM in the 19th century. Having a tough time actually pinpointing a more exact date. I do believe they are soup plates but not very deep. Can be used for dinner plates as well I think. Each plate is decorated in under glaze blue (hence no red orb mark yet) with the famous strawflower pattern with a nice ribbed design to the paste in between the well and the rim. The butterfly is my favorite part of the design! Each plate is in great condition with some very minor use marks. They display perfectly! The plates are 1.25 inches tall and 9.25 inches in diameter. Each of the pieces is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as shown with a plus sign above them, three of the plates also have a blue painter's mark on the foot ring and they have some impressed marks normal to this period but no date marks yet so definitely not 20th century! Each plate has a ground cut mark over the scepter denoting them being second choice likely because they are a bit out of shape from the firing process. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
