Small Bird Scene Coffee Pot #2

This is a small coffee pot made by KPM around 1780. It is probably one of the nicest ones I have owned by them from this period. The front and back have superb handpainted bird scenes, the rim has a nice raised design highlighted by gilding and in between are lots of top quality butterflies scattered around. The lid also has two small scenes with birds and small butterflies as well as a top flower finial. The quality is really superb and it is in perfect condition on top of that which is amazing! Just a tiny bit of wear to the gilding. The pot is marked underneath with the scepter in underglaze blue and an impressed I on the footring. The piece is 7 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
