Restored Spoon

This is a nice serving spoon made by KPM around 1780. It comes from the Antik Glatt service with the leaf design along the edge. The bowl has a superbly hand painted floral arrangement to the inside with the oak leaf garland in grey along the rim and some puce lines as trim. A stunning look! The underside of the spoon has thee insects / bugs / butterflies painted on it and the handle is sprouting leaves over the bowl. The handle is in the shape of a branch with nice molded detail and some green and yellow paint details. The piece displays nicely but as is all too common on these early spoons the handle has been broken right where it attaches to the bowl part and it has been restored. Not bad but could be done better nowadays! The spoon is not marked underneath but that is normal. Quite obvious that is was made by KPM and during this period. The spoon is 7.625 inches long with the bowl part being 2.75 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1 inch deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
Price is $99
