Bust of Crown Princess Victoria of Prussia

This is a nice figural bust made by KPM around in the mid 19th century between 1847 and 1849. The figure is of a young lady - the crown princess Victoria of Prussia . She was a German Empress and Queen of Prussia as the wife of German Emperor Frederick III . The piece is nicely modeled with a wreath of oak leaves in her hair including the leaves and acorns. Simple top that leaves the shoulders exposed and it is sitting on a cobalt blue base with some ncie gold details. One piece so the base is part of the mold. A very stunning figure! The piece is in great condition with a touch of gold wear and one leaf in the back has a chip to it. It's not obvious and it is in the back so she displays perfectly! The entire piece is 6.875 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. It is marked with the under glaze blue penny mark as it is called used one for a very short time during the mid 19th century as well as the red orb mark. Someone put Germany in permanent marker on the underside. A really nice piece! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
