White & Gold Design Lidded Bowl

This is a superb lidded box / dish made by KPM in the mid 19th century . The design remind me of the Grecque Athena Service made by Fuerstenberg but here we have an earlier KPM design. The piece is decorated with a white and gold design that is quite nice. Sort of like a fan shaped or arch design. It sits on three very detailed and fully gilded claw feet and has a nicely shaped finial on the lid. A really nice looking piece! It is in great condition with just some very minor wear/use marks nd a small chip to the very edge of the lid as shown that is very ahrd to spot and thus it displays perfectly! The piece is 5.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. Marked with the letter KPM under the scepter used from 1837 until 1844 plus the red orb mark as well as some other marks like a gilder's mark as shown. Almost 200 years old and still looks stunning!
