White & Gold Design Teapot Lid

This is a lid for a teapot from this design made by KPM in the mid 19th century . The design remind me of the Grecque Athena Service made by Fuerstenberg but here we have an earlier KPM design. The set is decorated with a white and gold design that is quite nice. Sort of like a fan shaped or arch design with the handle in the shape of the earlier swan handles without the detail. Still influenced by the earlier Biedermeier period. A great lid in perfect condition so if you happen to miss a lid or yours is damaged here is you probably once in a life time chance to get a replacement. The lid has a diameter of 3.625 inches. The outer diameter of the ring that sits within the tea pot is 2.75 inches. Unmarked which is normal for a lid but I have quite a few other pieces from this service up for sale on the site. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $99
